Ángela Escauriaza

Angela Escauriaza was born in Pamplona (Spain) in 1994. She began her music studies at the
Conservatorio Pablo Sarasate in her hometown and she continued with Marie-Paule Milone at the CRR of Paris. Further on, she moved to the Neetherlands where she finished her Bachelor's degree at the
Conservatorium van Amsterdam in June 2017 with the professor Maarten Mostert. She regularly gets advice from Sun Won Yang, Marc Coppey, Stephan Fork, Johannes Moser and Peter Wespelwey.
In 2017 she became a member of the GMJO (Gustav Mahler Jugendorchestrer) which gave her the opportunity to play in concert halls such as Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, Konzerthaus in Berlin and La Scala in Milano. Passionate about chamber music, Angela participated in numerous festivals in France (Festival de Colmar), Spain, Switzerland, Germany... Since September 2018 she is a Master Concert student with the cellist Ophélie Gaillard at the
Haute école de musique de Genève.
