Joan Gómez Alemany studied composition with Clemens Gadenstätter at the Kunst Universität Graz and previously with Oliver Rappoport at the Liceu Conservatory. He also holds a degree in piano and fine arts im the University UPV, specializing in cinema and painting. He received private lessons: Mark Andre, Pierluigi Billone, Raphaël Cendo, Brian Ferneyhough, Ashley Fure, Michael Maierhof, Hèctor Parra, Alberto Posadas, Stefan Prins, Yann Robin, Rebecca Saunders, Mauricio Sotelo, etc.
