Tetsuya Yamamoto was born in 1989 in Nagano, Japan. He obtained his Bachelor in 2012, Master of Music in 2014 from the Kunitachi College of Music, the diploma of Cycle Perfectionnement from the Marseille Conservatory in 2016, and Master from the National Conservatory of Lyon (CNSMDL) in 2019. He has studied the composition with Motoharu Kawashima, Michio Kitazume, Régis Campo, Philippe Hurel and Martin Matalon. Yamamoto has received several awards all over the world: Prize

winner at the «Île de création 2018» composition competition by the Orchestre national d'Île-de-France in 2018, 2nd Prize at «The 4th International Edison Denisov Young Composers Competition» in Russia 2016, 1st Prize and Special Prize at «The 6th International Antonín Dvořák Composition Competition» in Czech 2015, etc. He was featured in the program of Radio France «Création mondiale» with his orchestral piece «In the circle...» in May 2018. Currently, he lives in Paris.
