A graduate of the Basel and Lucerne Conservtories (having studied with Geneviève Strosser and Isabel Charisius), Anne-Laure Dottrens has also studied under Danusha Waskiewicz, Matthias Buchholz & Frédéric Kirch.
Since completing her studies, she performs appears both as a soloist and as part of chamber ensembles and orchestras, performing repertoire from baroque to contemporary.
During her time as a member of the Boreas Quartet she received tuition from Caroline Haas, Walter Levin and Gabor Takacs-Nagy. She has performed in orchestras under the baton of Jonathan Nott, Dmitry Sitkovetski, Leonardo Garcia Alarcon and Ludwig Wicky.
Anne-Laure also teaches violin, viola, and chamber music in numerous schools and workshops for children.
