Omri Abram

Israeli swiss resident composer, born Saturday September 27, 1986, in Jérusalem

Born in 1986 in Jerusalem, Omri Abram has had his music performed in Israel, Italy, Germany, Holland and the USA. He has studied composition with Amnon Wolman, Zvi Avni, and Ayal Adler; He has taken part in various international master classes, during which he has benefited from the knowledge and artistry of Salvatore Sciarrino, Chaya Czernowin, Beat Furrer, Isabel Mundri, Walter Zimmermann, and Fabian Panisello among others. young musicians in contemporary music, his compositions have been performed during the 2012-2015 seasons, in Israel and abroad. He is a recipient of the Siday Fellowship of Musical Creativity, and has received support from the America-Israel cultural foundation during the years 2010-2016. Additionally to his activities as a composer, he has been active as a pianist and musicologist. Currently, Omri is a Master's student in composition at the Basel music academy, class of Erik Oña.
