Sarah Lianne Lewis

British composer, born Monday May 16, 1988, in Aberystwyth

Sarah Lianne Lewis studied at Cardiff University between 2006 and 2011, receiving a BA 2:1 (Hons) in Music and History, and an MMus in Composition. Since graduating, she has received several commissions and performances from UK and European festivals, and has enjoyed leading educational workshops, recording sessions, and holding public masterclasses discussing her music. 2017 sees Sarah developing a work for chamber choir (Tenso Young Composers Workshop 2016/2017), and composing new works for the Quatuor Bozzini through Sound and Music’s Embedded/Composers’ Kitchen residency, and for the Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France (ManiFeste Academie 2017).
