Stephen Menotti studied with James Desano at Oberlin Conservatory and with Mike Svoboda at the Musikhochschule in Basel. His passion for contemporary music has led him to perform with numerous ensembles including musikFabrik, Remix Ensemble, Collegium Novum Zürich, Ensemble Phoenix and the International Contemporary Ensemble (ICE). After participating in the Stockhausen courses in Kürten in 2010, he has often appeared in performances of Stockhausen's music.
