Justyna Śliwa was born in Zabrze, Poland in 1980. She studied in Bytom with Tadeusz Wykurz as well as in Basel and Hannover with Hatto Beyerle. Since the year 2000 she is the violist of the Asasello-Quartett. Justyna graduated from the Hochschule für Musik Cologne with a Master's Degree in Chamber Music (Alban Berg Quartett) and New Music (David Smeyers).
