Ella Soto started making a name for herself in 2014 with her debut project «We're on a Mission». Her homemade r'n'b beats are not dissimilar to the artist herself: imperfect at times yet sincere and moving, they have managed to soften her public's hearts and ears. Influenced by the r'n'b and 90's world music from her childhood, Ella nevertheless looks to go deeper than the pop universe in which she evolves, notably through the feminist attitude which permeates her music. In 2017, the artist released her third EP «Sisterhood», under the label «Creaked Record». The EP presents a panel of deep, groovy, but also mystical sounds, through which the young artist wishes to encourage other women to find their inner power and to support each other. Thanks to her single «Watch Out», which generated some online buzz, she was able
to produce herself at some of the most important venues in Switzerland, such as the «Liztomania», during the Montreux Jazz Festival. Above all, Ella Soto is a young woman who, since the beginning of her career, has shared her long and sometimes complicated journey towards self-love, a destination which she believes should be actively promoted in a society which feeds itself on our lack of confidence, our constant need for validation, our thirst for perfection and excellence. The artist talks about the paradox between one's desperate need to feel loved by others, and the burning desire to become ultimately self-sufficient. She shares with us her voyage, how to recover and rebuild oneself after the chaos of some relationships. She speaks about desire and passion. She makes us want to love, be loved, but, most importantly, to love ourselves.
