Hanna Eimermacher studied composition from 2002 to 2005 with Younghi Pagh-Paan and electronic music with Günter Steinke and Kilian Schwoon at HFK Bremen. She studied from 2005 to 2006 with Beat Furrer and Pierluigi Billone in Austria, then from 2007 to 2009 with Beat Furrer and Mark André at the Hochschule für Musik in Frankfurt am Main.
Her works have been performed at Schloss Solitude, the Munich Biennial, the Donauschingen Off Festival, and the RAI Florence, among others. She has been awarded a scholarship
for the Schloss Solitude Summer Academy in 2009, as well as for the 2009 International Academy for Composers of Contemporary Music.
Hanna Eimermacher participated in Acanthes 2003, and at the Summer Academy of Schloss Solitude 2009. She attended masterclasses with Klaus Huber, Chaya Czernowin, Mark Andrew, Claus-Steffen Mahnkopf, Brice Pauset, Beat Furrer, and Toshio Hosokawa. She is currently working on an opera, which will be premiered at the Bockenheimer Depot under the direction of Beat Furrer with a set design by Claudia Doderer.
