"Barblina Meierhans creates works in the disciplines of instrumental composition, music theatre and installations. Barblina Meierhans studied initially violin, viola, experimental music theatre and transdisciplinarity at Zurich and Bern University of Arts and developped her compositional language first autodidactically. In succession, she studied composition at Dresden University of Music with Prof. Manos Tsangaris and Prof. Mark Andre, where she completed 2015 her Master of Music and 2017 the ‚Meisterklasse' in composition. She has been inspired in her work i.a. by Mark Andre, Manos Tsangaris, Franz Martin Olbrisch, Georges Aperghis and Daniel Weissberg. Her music has been played mainly in german speaking countries, in some occasions also in France, Italy, Poland, the United Kingdom, India,
