Mouthpieces and meditations
These are the new stars of the performance: the New Yorker Erin Gee and the Irish Jennifer Walshe. The voice is their weapon to affirm a fighting femininity, an art of rupture and tension. Their vocal cords, the strings of a ring where the bel canto is put KO. This concert, under the aegis of Pauline Oliveros, model of these young performers, is the subject of two workshops on new vocal techniques and stage work performance. They will take place in La Chaux-de-Fonds and in Geneva at the time of the festival.
