The Soprano Johanna Greulich, born in Hannover, studied opera singing in Frankfurt am Main. With the Eunoia Quintett she became a prize winner in the
Concours Nicati Bern 2015, the most renowned prize for Contemporary Music in Switzerland. In 2012 she won a special prize for her performance of New Music at the
Concours Suisse Ernst Haefliger in Gstaad/Bern and in 2011 she was given a prize for Contemporary Music at the
International Hilde Zadek Gesangswettbewerb in Vienna. Johanna Greulich won several prizes such as the 1. prize at the Lenzewski-competition in Frankfurt in 2008. She did a diploma in opera singing in Frankfurt and a specialized Master for Performance in Contemporary Music at Basel. Johanna
nominated for «Singer of the season 13/14» for the performances of Hypermusic by Hèctor Parra in
Berlin and Basel and Pnima at the
Lucerne Festival. She
premiered operas by Martin Hiendl, Ian Wilson, Hèctor Parra, E. Wehbi, Carola Bauckholt and Dmitri Kourliandski. The Soprano was invited to sing on reknowned festivals such as
Wien Modern, Lucerne Festival, Festival Archipel, Zeiträume Basel, Encontre International de Compositors Festival Illa de Mallorca. Johanna Greulich also premiered a lot of performances and
chamber music by Isabel Mundry, Sidney Corbett, Jonathan Harvey, Francois Sarhan, Beat Gysin, Roland Moser, Balz Trümpy and many others.
