The Bible tells us that, from the Earth, God created woman and man simultaneously. However, a little later, it explains that God makes Adam fall into a deep sleep and creates the woman who will become Eve from one of his ribs. So, we have two women: Eve, and Lilith, who is man's equal. What happened? Adam wanted to have sexual relations with Lilith and position her underneath him.
