In collaboration with the Haute Ecole de Musique of Lausanne (HEMU), for a fortnight the Lemanic Modern Academy supervises the Ensemble Contemporain of the HEMU, made up of students preparing a Master's in musical performance and works with young soloists, winners of reputed competitions, in realising concerts. The educational objective is to broach the most innovative aspects of contemporary musical writing with professional musicians experienced in these techniques who share their musical experience and provide individual, personalised coaching. Continuing a collaboration with the Lemanic Modern Ensemble begun in 2008, this year Archipel will receive Tristan Murail, the academy's tutor, who will direct work centred on his orchestral piece Le Lac, and Sofiia Suldina, talented violinist and winner of the 2015 Nicati Prize, who will play Scelsi's concertant poem Anahit.
